2 NIGHTS ONLY Ed's favorite hilarious scenes and some new at the Sofia Center for the Arts in Ed Claudio's "Moment to Moment" with Special Guest Rick Kleber
The Actor's Workshop sadly announces the unexpected passing of Founder Edward Claudio. He was a respected actor, teacher, coach and mentor to generations of Northern Californians, many of whom have gone on to professional careers in theatre and film.
With the passing of beloved friend and legendary artist, Ed Claudio, we happily welcome Elisabeth Nunziato to carry on our 34 year tradition of professional actor training.
Elisabeth is a founding company member of the B Street Theatre and co-founder of NK Media, a commercial and film production company. She will lead the Actor's Workshop and the Actor's Theatre in concert with her professional career, providing students the opportunity to benefit from the expertise of professional colleagues.
We ask for your patience during this difficult transition and we invite you to join us for Ed Claudio's Celebration of Life at The Sophia Center for the Arts, located in Midtown Sacramento at Capitol Avenue and 27th Street on March 7th at 5pm. Doors will open at 4pm. Please do NOT contact The Sophia Center for the Arts for information as we do not wish to overwhelm their box office. Updates can be found at the Actor's Workshop of Sacramento on Facebook.

This is a letter from Brie Larson's mother to Edward Claudio
Dear Ed,
I want you to know that today your former student Brie Larson was photographed by Annie Liebovitz, for the cover of Vanity Fair Magazine. When asked by the editor (Graydon Carter) "Who was the most influential person in her acting career?" Brie said "Ed Claudio - he taught me how to tell the story." Any awards she recieves, you played a big part in it."
From:
Heather Larson
A year after this letter was written, Brie Larson won the Academy Award for the Best Actor in a motion picture "Room"
