Actor's Workshop of Sacramento



No appointment is necessary for this continuing weekly class.

The Scene Study Class- The class meets once a week on Wednesdays and the students work on scenes from plays. Ed Claudio gives you a scene for you and a partner to work on. You keep working on this scene until Ed Claudio thinks you and your partner have mastered it. You are able to use props, costumes (if need be) and are able to study with other actors that are at your level of experience. 

When: Wednesdays 7:30pm-10:00pm

Fee: $20 a Class

Ages- 18+

Teen Acting Workshop- The Teen Acting Class meets once a week on Mondays. Each student gets to work on scence's from plays with a partner. The class works on story telling,  monolugues and the class plays improvisation games. 

When: Mondays 6pm-8pm

Fee: $100.00 a Month

*Ages- 12-18

*Beginner Experience Level - Advanced Experience Level

Private Acting Classes are for adults, teens and children. All private acting classes are by appointment.

  The classes can be tailored to the student’s schedule and interests. The classes focus on developing and enhancing the student's imagination, creativity and performance skills. Please contact usfor more information.

 

 The camps are designed for having fun in the summer time. The kids and teens get to play acting games and improvisation games. These games teach them how to tell a story, to think quick and to learn to use their imagination and creativity.

The kids and teens also work on a scene with partners. They work on this scene through out the camp. And they perform the scene for their family and friends at the end of the 2 week camp. The scene work teaches them to memorize, speech for the theatre and it helps them to develop a acting technique.

All Camps are taught by Ed Claudio winner for Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission Theatre Award for Arts Education. His son Michael Claudio and daughter Lauren Claudio head the camps with energy and experience. And we hire a professional and knowlegable staff to assist us.

• After care is available from 2pm-6pm for an extra weekly fee. Please contact us for more information.

• Every child must bring a lunch and multiple drinks with them to camp.

• Parents are responsible for props and costumes for the final show.
