What Happens when a self absorbed optimist befriends a suicidal cynic? Torture, mayhem!. Lawrence, the eternally cheery suit slaesman, lives in a sunny surreality all his own where everyone loves him and where the english language is merely a suggestion. And, his new pal Holloman is a nerdy shoe salesman who lives with his mother.

In fact, Holloman is none of those things. He is just a regular drone bogged down in the mire of his own hopeless thoughts and fears. Day after day, Lawrence boisterously espouses his views on everything from god to food to sex to sales. Holloman, perhaps for the first time in his life, finds meaning in plotting to undermine, maim and ultimately destroy his clueless new friend.

As Lawrence finds the silver lining behind each new cloud, Holloman must find increasingly bizarre and cruel ways to bring the rain.

From renowned Canadian playwright Morris Panych, Lawrence and Holloman is one of the funniest plays you will ever see. Deftly performed by Matt Morre and Eason Donner under the able direction of Edward Claudio this production is unlike any currently running show in Sacramento.
